ABOUT CAPTAIN BO
My Background
I have been fishing my entire life and have owned a boat since I was 15 years old. Some of my earliest memories are drifting the inlets with my Dad for flounder. I grew up in Columbia, SC and moved to Charleston where I graduated from the College of Charleston. I spent my summers as a "mate" on offshore fishing boat out of the Charleston Maritime Center learning from some of the best Captains in town.

I have my USCG Certified "6 pack" Captain's License along with my 50 ton Masters and fully insured. I absolutely love taking people fishing for a living and enjoy sharing our Lowcountry's historic scenic views. I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the trip is fun and reaches your expectations.
THE BOAT
24ft Sea Hunt RZR Bay Boat - 250 Yamaha
Whether we are fishing or cruising, Sea Hunt offers a very comfortable and open layout. Sea Hunt's Bay Boat has a nickname "Carolina Flare" which established its reputation in the industry for extremely dry ride. Along with comfortable cushion seating, there is plenty of space to move around, storage and 2 casting platforms for people to fish both ends of the boat. The boat is equipped with Garmin electronics and all safety equipment including lifejackets. We are powered by 250 Yamaha SHO edition engine that can top out over 50 mph for when we have to out run those summer afternoon pop-up storms! There is a hardtop T-top to offer shade, 6 JBL speakers for the days we need help "raising the fish," Minn Kota I-Pilot trolling motor and twin power poles to help us position correctly when fishing.
WHICH TRIP IS BEST FOR YOUR FAMILY
Charleston offers great fishing year round but depending on the season and expectations, let's discuss which trip would be best for you. If you're a local or just visiting, I'm always open to sharing any advice or information. If you're new to fishing, don't worry! The best part of my job is teaching and especially putting kids on some fish.
HARBOR CRUISES AND SUNSET TRIPS
Slow it down a little and take in come of Charleston's historic and scenic views of the Low Country! These trips not only offer stunning views but also provide some insight into our abundant Eco System. While we cruise through the back creeks and waterways, there will be plenty of opportunities to see our local wildlife. Experience close encounters with our local Bottlenose Dolfin and keep your eyes out for Sea Turtles, Shore Birds, Deer, Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Herons, Eagrets, Ospreys and more! You definitely want to bring along a camera for these trips.
SUNSET TRIP
As we cruise through the creeks, you'll quickly realize we are starting our way through The Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. We will explore only a section of the 22 mile long refuge that consists of over 60,000 acres of Barrier Islands, Salt Marshes and Maritime Forest. The hope is to provide a relaxing time in addition to an educational experience of our local wildlife and eco system.
HARBOR CRUISE
This is a fun trip navigating down the Intracoastal Waterway passing landmarks such as the Sullivan's Island Light House and "Old Pitt Street Bridge." As we get into the harbor will get a boatside view of Fort Sumpter, Castle Pickney, Morris Island Lighthouse, Yorktown Aircraft Carrier, Charleston Battery and The Ravenel Bridge.
